CHARLIE "CAPTAIN" SPAULDING is
our revered sound guru. He is wise beyond his years and we rely upon
his sage
advice to help us achieve aural Nirvana, or as we like to refer to it
in technical terms: to "sound good."
The Captain honed his audio skills providing mixes for artists like ZZTop, Gregg Allman and Jason and the Scorchers. Plus, he had a trailer and a whole bunch of cool equipment with blinking lights and knobs and stuff. He especially likes things that have the words "Mackie" and "JBL" on them.
Born near Tacoma, Washington (sometime between the Reformation and the Age of Enlightenment), he spent most of his misspent youth on the frozen tundra of the Northern Plains, mainly Fargo and the Twin Cities. The Captain's current home port is Hazelwood, Missouri, where he lives with a very understanding wife and daughter.
